Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. (KJV)

The Bible mentions that all things (including the devil, he is a thing) works for our good. Yes, the enemy might capitalise on it trying to break you down so that you can lose your faith and your trust in God and eventually your life because he is set out to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but if we have an open mind and continually keep pressing in on God, then we realise that the challenges and situations are working for our good.

We serve a big and mighty God, nothing is too hard for Him. (Jeremiah 32:17, 27)

Encourage yourself in the Lord just like David did (1 Samuel 30:6). As we continue to Job 1:22 , it mentions that Job blessed the name of the Lord and never blamed God or sinned.

What is the state of your heart and mind during these challenges? Do you sin? Do you blame God? Do you murmur and complain or do you bless the Lord? God will always be and remain God and forever reign on the throne whether or not you decide to bless Him. It is through thanksgiving that our situations are changed.

Thanksgiving might be difficult especially during challenges but once you begin seeing all that God has done for you, your mind and heart will change and it will also compel God to perfect your blessing.

As we continue to the end of the book of Job, we see that God increased his latter more than his former.

It is my prayer that even in challenges, remain steadfast in your love and service for God and always remember these challenges always make us stronger, we come out wiser and stronger and with net breaking, ear ringing testimonies that others can listen to and be encouraged.

“You are going to be important, you are going to be relevant, you are going to be a pillar, a support, you must be made. It is not because God hates you, it is because you are being considered, don’t throw a pity party, it is part of your making” Rev. Funke Adejumo

Bless the Lord at all times, He is the mountain mover. (Psalms 34:1)
