Galatians 4:5-7
5 To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons].

6 And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father!

7 Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ.

A dear friend of mine once lent me a book, I cannot remember the title but it was ‘MARRIED’ something, it blessed my life…the author told of a home he was hosted in and this couple had a number of children, from the eldest who was in her late teens, each one came in at different intervals and opened the door and called out to their mum, she was in a different room, they didn’t necessarily need anything but just wanted to know she was around, she responded to all of them the same way, ‘yes dear, is there anything you need’…they would say no, shut the main door and go wherever.
There’s comfort that children derive from knowing mum/ a parent is around, I for one can testify, I call my mum and just want to hear her respond…I might not necessarily need anything and if she doesn’t respond, I will call until she does or go look for her where she is just to make sure she is nearby.
How much so our heavenly Father…we are His children and His love for us is unconditional…we call to Him any time, He hears us, He responds..whether we call quietly in our hearts or loudly…He always hears.
As per the above scriptures, we are all children of the most High God, having being adopted. We call to our Father and He always hears us. Romans 8:15 tells us that…For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
I encourage you today, our Father longs for a relationship with each and everyone of us, where we trust in Him completely knowing that He is always near and where we derive our comfort knowing that Daddy always hears us when we call.
